Thanks to our very clever friend, Siri SatNav, we arrived in the city centre of Oxford without incident, even scoring a car park on the main street.
We visited Saxon Tower at St Michael at the Northgate church. The attendant was very helpful and gave directions to nearby attractions.
We walked through the city to Christ Church Cathedral College and toured through the grounds and buildings. How magnificent! The dining hall was the inspiration for Hogwarts' dining hall in the Harry Potter books/movies.
The Bear Inn is the oldest pub in Oxford and first opened in 1242.
From Oxford, we successfully navigated to Heathrow to return the hire car and catch the shuttle bus to Terminal 2. We're now checked in and waiting to board the flight to Guernsey.
