Exploring Guernsey

Today's adventure started with a bus ride around the island. For £1 you can catch Bus 92 and travel all around the coastline of Guernsey. The trip takes about 90 minutes.
Armed with a map to keep track of where we were, we were able to see so many aspects of the area.
So many rock fences, rock walls, rock buildings and rock towers! Where do all the rocks come from? Maybe from the tunnels the slave labour dug in the war?

Next was a stroll through the paved streets in St Peter Port, checking out the various shops of the Town.

Lunch was at a small sidewalk cafe where we sat and watched the world go by.
